When is the conference?
All conference sessions will take place online from Wed., July 21
to Fri., July 23
How do I sign into the virtual event?
You just need the virtual event link and the email address you registered with. You will receive the virtual event link by email a few days before the event. If you can’t find it, please contact Lisa Izzi at email@example.com
What do I need to run the virtual event?
All you need is an internet connection, a web browser (Google Chrome
is recommended) and speakers or headphones, so you can hear. (There’s no call-in number for this conference. If your computer doesn’t have speakers, you may want to watch it on a mobile device.) You don’t need to download any software or use a webcam.
How much is the conference?
Since the event is online only, the registration cost is $125
— if you register by June 21
. After that, the cost increases to $175
How do I pay?
During the registration process, you can pay by credit card (recommended) or check. Since your payment must be received before you can enter the virtual event, we recommend using credit. If you pay by check, we must receive it by July 12
to assure your access to the virtual platform.
Please make checks payable to TCDRS, and be sure to include the registrant’s name and “TCDRS Annual Conference” on the check. If you’re unable to add the name to the check, please include a printout of the registrant’s confirmation email or invoice with your check payment.

Why didn’t I receive my registration confirmation email?
Check your spam folder for an email from TCDRS Conference Team at email@example.com

How do I get continuing education credits?
You’ll find everything you need on our “Credits” page within the virtual platform, including downloadable forms. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Izzi at firstname.lastname@example.org
Are session recordings available after the conference?
Session recordings will be posted after the session takes place and available for up to three months after the event.
What if I need to cancel my registration? Can I get a refund?
To cancel your registration, please email email@example.com
. You will get a refund, minus a $30
administration fee, if you cancel by Wed., July 21
. After July 21
, there will be no refunds issued.
Virtual Conference Platform FAQs
How do I sign into the virtual conference platform?
When the platform is ready, we’ll send you a link. You’ll sign in with the email you registered with and set a password.
Can you sign in with multiple devices?
No, you can only sign in with one device at a time.
Is the platform mobile device friendly?
Yes, the virtual platform is mobile responsive and will work on your mobile device. However, for the best experience, we recommend a desktop or laptop computer.
I can see the video, so why can’t I hear audio?
You must watch this conference from a computer or mobile device that has speakers or headphones. There is no call-in number. If you don’t have speakers on your computer, trying watching it on a mobile device.
I am in the session but my video is frozen, and I can’t hear the audio. What do I do?
Please ensure that your system’s speakers are turned on and the volume is up. If the video continues to freeze, try to refresh your internet browser with “Control” + “F5”. If you have a Mac, hold down the “Command” and “R” keys on your keyboard.
I am in the session, but the video is blurry/pixelated or choppy. What do I do?
Check your internet connection to ensure you are receiving the proper speeds for streaming. Test your internet connection on SpeedTest.net
. (You’ll need 1.8 Mb per second for download and 0.6 Mb per second for upload speeds for standard definition and 3 Mb download and 1.5 Mb upload speeds for high definition.)
I am in a session and the audio keeps breaking up. What do I do?
If you are using a Bluetooth device, make sure your batteries aren’t low. If the issue is on the presenter’s side, we will notify you in the session chat box.
